Re: Rhode Manager
I see that Rhode are the outsiders for Sundays clash with Portlaoise in Bord na Mona, O'Connor Park this Sunday @2.30pm, Rhode 7/4 Portlaoise 4/7, I think that Rhode are worth a punt, especially as the match is a home game, any thoughts.

Well they have a better chance this year than Ferbane haveSearingDrive wrote:If Ferbane had not conceded the late free, they would be in the final. I can't see Rhode even winning Leinster, never mind the All Ireland club hampionship.

Re: County Management Stability
This could work, the one thing about Stephen's teams is they are fit, I felt that Offaly were not fit to last 73/74 mins under Flanagan.timber wrote:
Stephen Darby is probably worth giving some thought to also. I dont know enough about Peter Brady as a manager. Maybe as a number 2.

Re: Be Disappointed but show the players respect
Look, we should have been ahead at half time but to leave Niall Mac off until final 10 minutes was criminal, our best player for the past 15 years and to treat him like this, may never play county again especially under present management team, Flanagan comes out with the same s'''t after every matc...

Re: U21 football
I saw today that the last time the u21s were in a Lenister final was 2007 when Laois beat them. Anyone know the team/panel in 2007 The Offaly team was as follows: Dean Bracken (Erin's Rovers), 2. Gerry Grehan (Ferbane), 3. Ritchie Dalton (Edenderry, 4. Eoghan Byrne (Rhode) capt, 5. Stephen Lonergan...

no matter what way we look at it, this is a desperate result for a once proud county, a club team would have put in a better effort

Re: Rhode in Leinster
penalty miss was hugh, thought that Niall should have said i'll take this, Mcpadden's and Darby's played really well, Garry should have saved from Connolly, also I think that Darren Garry will be a big player for Rhode going forward

Re: Rhode in Leinster
Great win today, tough game, should have put the game to bed earlier, but still great to be back in the final
