Re: U21 hurling v Kilkenny, Wednesday June 26th, Tellamore
http://www.uibhfhaili.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5792 Compared to last year we have improved by about 1000% at this level. But for the 3rd year in a row Birr had no Player on the team at this level. Why?? Birr was always the home of Offaly Hurling. Where are all the Hurlers from Birr and mor...

Re: U21 hurling v Kilkenny, Wednesday June 26th, Tellamore
Feck it. we could have won this on another day Offaly could have has 5 goals. the good things from tonight were our backs all of them again awesome. Camon tired for the 10 mins at the end. it was a pity he was excellent for most of the game. Stephen Quirke is the best forward in the county. some of ...

Re: Offaly v Waterford, SH qualifier, 22nd June 2013
Also, just on that point, I think Brian Carroll is getting an unfair going over in some of the posts above. The modern game asks a lot of a midfielder (at a guess I'd say a midfielder covers at least 50% more ground than any other player on the field) and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who co...

Re: Offaly v Waterford, SH qualifier, 22nd June 2013
Well after two years of Ollie Baker we haven't made any progress. If anything we had gone back. The blame for losing this game has to rest complete on the Offaly management. A blind man could see that Brian Carroll was being bully in the midfield battle; From the first min he was complete out fought...

Just hear that Parlon is almost sure to be out for Saturday.
Word from Waterford is O Halloran and Shane Walsh is definitely out. Nagle is no better than 50/50 to play on Saturday
All humours. what the true is, god knows.

Re: Offaly Vs Kilkenny Leinster Hurling Championship
Feck it, I'll cook the humble pie tonight and eat it tomorrow. great 1st half, the backs let the ball in early and long. Bergin Goal was special. Goal of the year. in the second half our wing back took the ball into the tackle and turned it over a little two much. were going to get Tipp in the draw,...

Re: Offaly team named.
Looks good on paper. Two sets of twins on a county team must be fairly rare. 1 Conor Clancy (St Rynagh’s) 2 Niall Wynne (St Rynagh’s) 3 Dan Kelleher (Brosna Gaels) 4 Michael Cleary (Shinrone) 5 David King (Coolderry) 6 Pat Camon (St Rynagh’s) 7 Sean Gardiner (Lusmagh) 8 Sean Dolan (St Rynagh’s) 9 A...

Can i ask what was the first yellow card for??puzzled wrote:Tullamore 0-14 Drumcullen 1-08
Without doubt the sending off after about 15 minutes cost Drumcullen this game,Declan Teehan got sent off for two yellow cards, the second yellow a shoulder into a tullamore players chest was just pure madness!

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
Thanks for the Report. Can't believe i'm going to miss all this weekend games. Twitter has the score "SHC 48mins Seir K 0-15 Bronasa G 0-5" SHC final score Seir Kieran : 1-18 Brosna G 0-7 I believe that Tullamore beat Drumcullen 0-13 to 1-8 or something like that. Haven't seen that confirm...

Re: Offaly Panel
Ok lads. I have being reading this discussion, Its look like no one is sure what happened. So I’ll have to ask a few questions before i will make a comment. 1, Did Baker and Rigney have a meeting, are we all 100% sure this happened?? 2, Was it Baker that ask for the meeting or was it Rigney?? 3, Was...
