Re: Offaly v Fermanagh
We're trying to build a team and a panel. Niall Mc is going great guns at the moment, but Jaysus, what message does it send out to other lads to take him off and bring him back on. Seriously, where have you seen that happen, bar some lunatic coach at u14 level!!! Yes it worked with Peter Canavan, al...

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
Last year we had every chance to put Tipp away in Thurles. Poor shooting, not enough direct ball in, and non existant tackling were factors. I think we gave away a soft goal or penalty to them also? If we are to close the gap on them, and other teams I would think that we need to push up a bit more ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Best of luck this weekend to all involved.
Great performances so far, the bar is set now lads and drive her on.
This non breaking of hurls must surely help with the offset of carbon and as such can only be seen as a positive from an environmentalists point of view #saveourashtrees.

Re: Management committee
"Tullamore can like or lump it in my opinion. "I’d love to see the county board quietly sound out Birr, see what they can offer with regards the hosting of matches, and break the lease of their agreement with Tullamore." Jaysus lads lot of arguments here in this one comment. 1) Tullam...

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
"I do disagree on Moloney, and I say this having hyped him up on here during the week - but his tackling was awful today, he gave away needless frees in areas that weren't dangerous, and to a Limerick team where they only had one forward (Neville) who looked capable of scoring from open play. C...

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
Case in point is the Wicklow goalie, he nailed 2 out of 3 and really solid kicks.
The disappointing thing is it is logical to offer Paddy the opportunity as he was a very good underage free taker.

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
Good win, but Wicklow were really poor. We could have had them hammered by half time. Again butchering 3 one on ones and we should have had a penalty plus a black card for the defender. Negatives. I can't agree Lone Shark with Johnny Moloney re 6. And further more, I can say now that we are facing a...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Well done to Fennelly , back room team and the players, it is clear they have engaged these players well during the lockdown and players have looked after themselves. Not getting carried away will not be an issue with the players but most likely the folk around here if we don't get promoted now. Con...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
I watch with interest some of the commentary here as I would not be as close to the hurling situation although I go to watch them from time to time. Leading up to this I would have been concerned with the situation in relation to the number of so called big names who had refused to commit. There is ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Harsh comments on Conor Clancy. I think Dempseys retired and so has Breeder, so they are irrelevant to any discussion. Clancy did what Sean Cavanagh did v KK, (maybe a little more violent!), but did what he had to for the team, and I havnt seen a lot more to say he doesnt have temperament. In my opi...

"If every one of us in county could find a way to up our contribution in whatever avenue possible we'd see improvements".
It's a simple message but one that each of us would do well to remember!!
