Re: Kilcormac-Killoughey in Leinster - 2014

How could any ex hurler begrudge KK of their success over the last 3 years. They are a credit to Offaly club hurling at the moment. I will be shouting them on Sunday week but I do think they will be beaten by at least 5 points. Its going to be a battle of the forwards as both teams are stronger in t...

Re: Offaly Hurling the real problem

I heard from a Shamrocks player that he is back training with them.

He will be a big addition for them in Leinster and Senior next year.

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015

Excellent reply Toxicity234. I have to fully agree with you with everything you said ther. Whelan just has done so much damage with inexperience and to be honest Offaly County Bard have not helped him out in any such way. They have put him on a diving board with a pool full of great whites. We need ...

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015

Town man- no KK man in your team? Why? Kiely is well able for senior level I think. Who are the KK and Shamrocks lads to join the squad? What happened with Del last year should be forgotten about. Bring him in and if he or anyone else for that steps out of line, then let them go. I still think him a...

Re: Offaly Hurling Panel 2015

Shes no relation - I am in full agreement with you. Gerry Spollen is def woth a shot at it. People say Magner is too small for inter county but he was able to hold his own against the best players this year and has played Fitzgibbon for the last few years. Who from Shamrocks was called in? How many ...

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014

I was @ that Clareen game and Gorman did not have a good day in the office. If I remember Shane Guinan came on for him with 20 mins to go and totally changed the game? Im i correct. I have not been to every game but I'll have a stab @ it: 1. Conor Slevin - Only made one mistake all year from what i ...

Re: Minor Football 2015

I would love to know Pascal's reasons for leaving. Offaly need lads like Pascal in place if we are going to improve in any shape or form.

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014

Toxicity234 I think James Gorman owes you a pint next time he see's ya! He was taken off in every game this year until the semi final and was hands down man of the match that day. Including him in team of the year is a joke especially when you have left out Bergin and Carroll the 6 forwards.

Re: Offaly Senior Football Management 2015

Best of luck to Pat Flanagan. I hope he is giving the relevant time to make the changes required. He needs at least 5 years with the under 21's and Senior's with Pascal Kelleghan givin the same timeframe with the minors.

Re: Intermediate Football Championship 2014

Timber how can you say for Shamrocks to cause an upset and win with them favorites all year. Was very impressed with Raheen but I was also more disappointed with Doons performance. Their fitness and all round shape and play was that of junior standard and they will struggle in Senior B next year. Ra...

Re: National Hurling League 2015

It's not a bad fixture list.

We slipped up last year against Laois by not taking them serious and not starting our best 15.

My question is if Brian Whelan has been ratified as manager or what is the story?

Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014

Pat Horan is as you state "an ex-referee" and is now "a paying customer" at Offaly GAA Matches. Pat Horan is fully entitled to attend or not attend any match at any venue that he may wish to do so. Your response is typical of the Offaly County Board's attitude to its customers. ...
