Re: Minor Football

Fair dues to the lads, dug it out when looked to be going against them.

Few decent players there, but may find the step up against Kildare next week too much.
Great workrate and fairly well organised though.

"It's hard on the Dubs in fairness having to be without key players due to U20 Football final"

Me bleedin heart bleeds for them!

Only one winner with the game being played in Birr, sure look at how the minors turned over Laois!!

Hon Offaly!

Re: Management committee

Can people not lobby for other candidates? I think Pat should stand his corner if he wants to stay. The fact that someone might vote or prefer the option of working with Colm Cummins does not mean that they would not work professionally with Pat Horan. I wish him well, but I think you are better off...

Re: Should we stick with Michael Fennelly now?

Context: 1) Missed targets this year. What is Michael Fennelly's view, reasons for and what did he learn, do differently 2) Proposed solutions to meet them next year, can he deliver, can Co Board support solutions. 3) Are there blinding alternatives that can guarantee success (probably not) If there...

Re: Club Managements

Durrow will need more than "Cake" for Dessie! He'll not come cheap I'd say.

Minor Football

Minor footballers play Wicklow on Saturday in Tullamore at 1pm.

Feast of activity and only few parents allowed in.

Ken Furlong has done a decent job I hear but hard to know how it will go. Wicklow beat Longford just before the lockdown.

Good luck to them anyway.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Thats grand I agree with everything he says so!

Plenty of action this weekend with the minor hurlers and U20 hurlers out, anyone any insight into how they might do?

Minor hurlers should win, U20s have a decent chance?

Fair dues to Tipp and Cavan. It shows what a win or 2 and a bit of momentum can give to a team.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020

Well, look on the brightside so lads, we wont have to face Kildare next year! Look, time to regroup and there does need to be a look at the plan overall for Offaly hurling, but we seem to have steadied the ship a little at u20 level and the win over Laois in the minor was welcome. I think that there...

If they are being listed up here then they won't happen! Especially the football one.
