Re: Offaly Hurlers 2022
Let’s be honest, we haven’t set the world on fire this year. Didn’t put up the big score vs Meath that all the others could do and we had an extra man for the second half, just about got over Kerry and down and then lose to Antrim and Carlow. We have no right in saying we are ahead of Laois or Westm...

Re: Offaly Hurlers 2022
Best of luck to the hurlers today, really need to get a big win in case it comes down to points difference.
Lot of changes in the team in all games played, had a very settled team last year. One game at a time so let’s get the win first.

Re: U20 "22
At the end of the day a win is a win especially in the first round of a championship, the performance wasn’t the best but with games coming every week now momentum and their play will improve. Louth were a well drilled team that kicked some super points from distance especially the first half but go...

Re: Minor Football
The minors are through now, they play Longford the next day to see who goes to quarter finals and who goes to preliminary quarters. The top team in group A and B go straight to semi finals, Dublin and Kildare. The second place team go straight to quarter finals in group A and B. The third place team...

Re: National Foothall league Div 2 predictions
First of all hard luck, a great effort put in and with the exception of the Clare game there was nothing between the rest of the Division 2 teams but results just didnt go their way ( not counting in the 2 promoted teams and Derry) The one thing that we need is midfield, from throw ins today and las...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Definitely over the two games Tullamore deserved to win, its an open championship now and next year there will be three or four teams thinking they can win.
Now i am not good with numbers but with a capacity of 18,000 did it only look a quarter full today?.

Re: Club Hurling championship
I know rules are rules set out at the beginning of the year and when walkovers happen there has to be a play off but Kil/Kil were very lucky to be still involved in the Junior A hurling. These 4 teams finished on 6 points. Tullamore +19 played all games Shamrocks +13 played all games Kil/Kil +7 play...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Personally i thought Alan deserved the line the last day, it was the follow up of the elbow after the shoulder that did it for me. The way Tullamore played after in the final 10-15 minutes i was delighted they got the result they deserved. It was a shame there wasnt a few more minutes left to see wh...

Re: Offaly 2022
Talking about all our resources is there an update on Cian Johnson, he seems to have had an injury for a long time now, anyone know much about this, have heard a few conflicting stories.
Also any update on Cian Farrell, had he a serious injury?. Footballers going to be without a few for league.

Would 3-6 from play be up there in the record books, John Murphy for ballinamere vs Seir Kieran.

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Jack Walsh – Another Offaly man, this time from Gracefield and is Captain of the side. Was part of the Offaly side that reached the Leinster U-21 Football Final in 2017.
Think this is the Gracefield player you are looking for.

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Durrow got a well deserved draw against ferbane, they recovered well after conceding a goal after 2-3 minutes and looked in big trouble in defence early. Durrow got a goal with about 10 min to go to go 2 points ahead and were still 2 ahead after 56 minutes, ferbane got the last 2 points to get a dra...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship
Great opening post.
A lot of great games ahead especially round 3 were it will be all to play for.
Could be a very open championship but is this the end of the current Rhode team or can they bounce back.
