It goes to a proportional representation vote, with the lowest candidate being eliminated and their votes being transferred to the voters second preference.
On another note, I'm just wondering why so many posters here are voting for one candidate and not the other?

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Weighing up the two candidates in terms of who I would vote for. Tommy Pros He has been there a long time and knows the ropes. Knows how to effectively chair a meeting. Always there to help out in OCP for big games. In fairness he acted decisively when dealing with Wallace during the football manage...

Re: Byrne v Duignan
Any chance this can be merged in with the other thread. So all the talk from same topic can be kept together.
I voted for Duignan but I think Tommy will probably get it on the night.
I will elaborate on my reasons for voting for duignan later.

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
I was thinking of actual numbers
I looked it up there. There is a total valid poll of 141 of which 14 is the top table, plus 1 each from refs admin, handball, primary and post primary so leaves 123 votes from clubs.
Thats if everyone turns up. So a poll of 71 to get elected.

Re: Senior A Hurling 2019
As defeats go thats the sickest I have ever suffered as Birr supporter. I am not sure what to say ...I dont agree LS that they sat back I think think Banagher went up another level for the last 15 and Birr didnt have enough in reserve to match them, we couldnt win ball around the middle third. Talk...

Any word on selectors.
Having good selectors will be very important for Fennelly.

Re: Meeting In Tullamore
Any word on who are the people that are putting themselves forward for the county board.
One thing I see is that many in the media will give out about the county board , but wont put themselves forward due to the amount of actual work involved.

Re: Under 13 Final.
KK going very well at most grades underage as well . Hurling is like a religion out there. Same lads in the field every night. They are setting the standard in most grades. Some very good hurlers on that Drumcullen team with a lot of them underage again next year. In fairness to them ,they have put ...
