Re: Senior A hurling 2018

My predictions: St.Rynaghs v Shinrone Doesn't be much between these sides when they play. Draw match when they met earlier in the year and could be a good chance of this again for me.(wonder what odds would be like with PaddyPower). Will be a lot of key battles all over the field but for me midfield...

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

Next weekend could see a big push from Ballinamere and Lusmagh for a semi final spot.

If either beat shamrocks or tullamore, a drumcullen win would see them in poll position for a semi final.

Senior B is starting to throw out some interesting games.

Re: Senior A Football 2018

Another potential Leinster final for Rhode to loose

Away to Wicklow champions in the first round would be a tough task.

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

Tullamore and Ballinamere drew last night. 3 draws from the last 3 games for Ballinamere and only lost by 1 point in first game. huge win for the sash lat night. Have a tough game at the weekend. Saturday 28th July: Clodiagh Gaels v Brosna Gaels at Clara at 7.30pm -Clodiagh Gaels by 3 points. Saturd...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

Friday 27th July: Shinrone v Kinnitty: Shinrone to win but there wont be too much in it. They are going well and showing the potential everyone taught they might have. Big names like Del and Sean Cleary are performing. Conor Doughan back in the team will only strengthen things. Saturday 28th July: C...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

Somebody might know why Offaly GAA cant construct and release fixtures for the championship next weekend. It is only 10 days away and should be the minimum notice required to give clubs.

I agree. Scoreboard should be a necessity if hosting a game.

Re: Senior B Hurling 2018

Just on this, the guideline (don't ask me if it's a bye-law or what it is) is that the referee brings his own umpires while the host club provides the linesmen. Of course, if the referee lands without an umpire, that just further stretches the resources of the host club. . . . Surely Ballinamere if...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

There was no issue with the overlap when fixing Offaly and Wexford with Champions League so why change that mentality now. Looking forward to the 2 games in Birr. Hopefully the good weather holds up. My predictions for weekend Kinnitty(---)v(---)Seir Kieran... Clareen win by 5 or 6 points Kilcormac-...

Re: Senior A hurling 2018

To have Belmont n Birr on Sunday evening at 7.30 is absolute madness. And I see Carraig and Shamrocks are fixed for 8 which is even worse. No reason why these games can't be played at 6. Whatever about later games on a Friday or Saturday evening.. Offaly county board expecting players to wait til Su...
