Re: Minors hurlers 2022
I'm travelling to the game on my own plus two kids. I was talking to another person travelling on their own plus 3 kids. That is 7 prople going in on two tickets. There will be thousands doing likewise. This is an absolute monumental fcuk up on the part of the GAA. Absolutely, it’s going to be comp...

Re: Minors hurlers 2022
Does anyone know if buses are being arranged specifically to bring children to the match? If so, there should be pre-booked places sectioned off in the stands for them together with designated adults who are charged with looking after them. Failure to do so would lead to utter chaos and a potential...

Re: Minors hurlers 2022
Looks like the New Stand and Old Stand are sold out as they are greyed out now on ticketmaster and tickets are only available for the stand behind the goals. My question is this....if those 2 stands are sold out and adults rock up with their kids these stands are going to be off limits to adults th...

Tullamore vs Ferbane
Rhode vs Durrow
Tullamore and Rhode are favourites to advance here but two upsets would not be a surprise.

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
the county final ferbane won was very decisive and well deserved and featured a brilliant 2 goals by cian johnston. first i heard of the ref being biased was reading the comment 2 steps back. either a shit stirrer or a disgruntled rhode person or mixture of both.? Probably a mixture of both, Rhode ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
A full strength Ferbane side would have definitely won this championship and should do so in future years. How come they only won 1 title in the past years and the ref won that one for them. A full strength Rhode side would win pulling up.  “In the past years”, maybe because some of Ferb...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Championship 2021
Ferbane v Edenderry :missing cian ,james and oisin we will be up against it although i still think we can be more than competitive and if edenderry leave us in this game with a chance to win it, i think we will. a lot depends on their approach. prediction ferbane by 2. Rhode v shamrocks: shamrocks ...

Re: Offaly vs Louth 2021 Leinster Football Championship
a great keeper for sure and his positioning and distribution is top class..just no need to come up for every single free... a good keeper alright but his long kick outs have been killing us especially in the last 2 games, never seems to find an offaly man, we are put under pressure straight away by...

Re: Offaly vs Louth 2021 Leinster Football Championship
Gutsy performance in extra time by the lads albeit we were lucky not to lose in normal time. A lot still to work on but we should give Kildare a good rattle and have nothing to fear. Get Maughan’s deal extended ASAP! Up Offaly...

Re: Div 3 South predictions & general comment
I fear this quote from The LoneShark about Derry has proved correct: “Another journalist told me that they were training hard, and collectively, the whole way through the lockdown”
Not really fair is it?

Re: Offaly v Fermanagh
While I agree with everything you said, put yourself in the players position. Would you be willing to give up possibly your only chance of winning silverware for Offaly and a chance to play in Croke Park over fears of Mickey Harte? I certainly wouldn’t. Oh I totally understand that. Do we know was ...

Re: Offaly v Fermanagh
Offaly went looking for a final to be played v Derry next week. If the GAA said there was to be no final I'd have left it at that. This now gives Mickey Harte and co. an extra match to observe very closely. It takes Offalys focus off the Louth game in my opinion. Also the lads were assured of going...
