I KNOW THIS IS A LONGSHOT Does anyone have the Programme from the 1969 Football Final ?
As James McCarthy became the second Ballymun Kickhams player, after Johnny Egan in 1969, to Captain a team in the Football final, I would love to see that 69 programme.

Re: U20 hurlers 23
Agree that is was a brilliant day out and the Offaly team were brilliant and a credit to the County and to Hurling. Now the massively bigger, stronger Cork deserved their win. I don't give them any credit for the thuggery, which started in the first minute when the full back tried to behead Adam S w...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
Puck-outs Keeper was spot on== but 3 & 6 carried into trouble4.5.6 times and gave woeful handpasses==== Kildare over-ran us for 20 minutes of the second half====== fitness/commitment issues ??? Two long hit & hopes broke for the 2 goals getting us out of jail. The last free was a disaster- H...

As an OAP I dont think this is harsh==== I love going to games especially in O'Connor Park. The fiver per game was grand and for those who go to lots of games this will be a discount========

Re: Tullamore parentage motion
I dont know enough to support the motion having lived away from Offaly for over 50 years. The one possibility it might open would be that family of those from rural clubs, now living in large urban areas, could be enticed to play with their parents home club. Of course the possibility of the large c...

KEVIN KILMURRAY R.I.P.
We have lost a great one with the passing of Kevin "The Killer" Kilmurray.
He was a star with Daingean from a young age, then in Hogan Cup with Belcamp, with UCD and for many years as the massive leader of the Offaly attack.
Rest In Peace Kevin.

Re: Club Football Championship 2022
I option felt that Tullamore were not cocky enough. With almost 70% possession they dominated but ---------- While they kicked a rake of wides especially in the second quarter a few of their forwards did not shoot when in great positions especially the number 10 who had loads of opportunities but la...

Re: Sigerson/Fitzgibbon 2020
Serious Offaly representation last night in Sigerson competition. Great to see! DCU ran out comfortable winners against Maynooth with 3 Offaly starters all doing well - Jack Bryant, Bill Carroll and Shane Tierney (surely worth a call back into senior set up). Maynooth themselves had 3 Offaly starte...
