Re: Offaly v Waterford, SH qualifier, 22nd June 2013
Everybody is making very valid points, Offaly's fitness level is way behind what is required to compete at this level but why?????. Its not rocket science lads that if you are fit you dont start making silly mistakes. Not playing in Division 1A cannot be used as an excuse for not being fit, it would...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
or what about Danny pulling a rabbit out of the hat, and playing young Dylan Murray with Gorman going full, Murray would love the open space in croker  Was thinking the same thing myself Townman, I have seen K/K playing some of their challenge games this year and unfortunately Murray was not ...

Re: All Ireland Club Hurling Championship 2012-2013
Big blow for K/K a week before the All-Ireland Final with Dan Currams breaking his arm in a challenge match this morning, the options up front are very limited with Trevor Fletcher and Mark Leonard the main forwards subs that have been used todate. I would hope the management dont try to change the ...

Re: Hurling Championship
KK have for a long time the hurlers to win a county senior title but just needed someone to give them the belief that the could win it. Being from the club I listened to people all year since Danny Owens was appointed saying that he wasn't the man for the job, that he would not be able to bring them...

Re: minor A club hurling championship
Very good win for KK minors at the weekend, this is a relatively young team with about 8/9 of that starting team eligable next year including the very skillful Harley who is only 15 years of age. They are also in the under 16 semi final again this year and with having won the under 16 championship l...

Re: Junior Football Championship
The "Genius" you refer to PotH would be Tommy Byrne who seems to have the attitude that the will play it where I tell them when I tell them. It is common knowledge (in kk anyway) that both clubs have looked for this fixture changed and to be played at a later date during daylight hours. Th...

Re: Junior Football Championship
Conor Mahon is not playing football this year. Its a pity because he would be a huge asset and it would get him fitter for the hurling as well, as he tends to struggle as the game goes on.

Re: CLUB HURLING MANAGERS 2012
I heard the had a very poor turnout last sunday week due to a 21st and county under 21 training, all bar 4 of the senior panel had a valid reason for not attending but only 1 showed up along with 16 intermediates. Word on the street has it that the club not in a good place at the moment and the chai...

Re: U-12's.
Barry, under 12's are now under the control of the games and coaching administration. The format is go games again but I think Bord Na Nog are hoping to run a league as well with a final at the end of it.

Re: Junior A Hurling
Was at the KK v Kinnitty game this morning it was very poor stuff but conditions were bad. KK had enough chances to win 3 matches. Most exciting part of the game was an altercation between Seamus Spain and Tony Carroll over a line ball.

Re: All Ireland Hurling Final
Lads, think ye might be a bit harsh on Gavin. No referee is goin to get every decision right, yes he made mistakes but none of them were match changing decisions. The belt he got on the nose was his own fault should never have been that close to the row or handbags stuff. He tried to referee it in h...
