Kk know what the bigger picture is for them, win a minor or u20 is irrelevant to them and the bigger counties. Their priority is solely on player development and bringing lads through to senior. If you are good enough for senior, you play senior. It's not about wether they are needed or not.

You know well why. Relive last year all over again for one, egos need to be massaged. U20 mgt don't want any of them playing senior, senior want them only playing senior. The players themselves want to win here and now. Lads on those panels will never play county after u20. This is it for them.

In regards to oisin been taken off it could well be a managed return to hurling for him. He has had terrible run of Injury and its a phased return to play. Which is what should have happened with ravenhill.

In both hurling and football players been turned away as they play other sports. Coaches been hamstrung in what they are allowed to do. The way the u20 was treated by not been allowed to train. Were offaly the only county to do this?
