Re: Strength And Conditioning
Tox, I have to say that i would normally have a lot of time for your posts and the passion you clearly have for the Offaly. But that piece in Joe Bergin is confusing. In the modern game forwards need to be interchangeable, and many players are easiy interchangeable into different positions, and the ...

Re: Respect
Fair play Tox, keep up the good work. Tough battle you had and well done on your efforts. To the point in hand, look lets not jump up and down. I think there is a little bit of over sensitivity by the players. The argument that we dont have the facilities is a bit of a red herring, the guys have the...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Uibhfhaili, Bit sad to be commenting on Regans son playing rugby with Leinster???? Has the ban come back in? There is no obligation on Regans son to play hurling, (feck it Shane Lowry should have been hurling, imagine all the sideline cuts he could put over.) True it is a problem that other sports h...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
KK Dont know what I have said that could offend someone in that bracket? If they want their kids to play, brilliant, there has never been a better time to have a kid starting to play gaelic football, (dont know about hurling). In our club there is now a nursery catering for 4 yr olds up, Go Games fo...

Re: Round 1 Qualifiers: Offaly v Wicklow
This is the perfect draw, this team needs to grind out a win somewhere, and would hope that we can make it over the line in this one.
However, if our players have phoned in since the last round, well... this will be exposed too.
Good luck to the lads!

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Ah Jayz, I have seen it all now????? Come on Observant, are you mixing up the County Board with the County Council? There are talks of setting up a part paid role for a county secretary , with this role eventually moving to full time. At this stage its all our faults that things are in this mess, so...

"I don't think that we should be starting back at under 13 or even back at minor & trying to build from a good hurling team from there...what we need to do is put the right structure in place for the players we have today...be it senior, u21 & minor & all the way down through the de...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
Our half back line will have their work cut out, and it will take a huge effort from our midfield and half forward line to win ball and try to put some pressure on KK backs. Would think that the idea of Mahon in midfield would be that he might drop back under the puck out and help contest with Walsh...

Re: Offaly v Kilkenny
I think that POTH and BNM have a point to a degree. But there is an element of snobbery here too at times. Some of the opinions here are fair and valid. Some of them are over the top too. But lets face it, if you are not frustrated with the performances of the Offaly hurlers then you would have to w...
