Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2024
The 2 of ye are ruining the thread for everyone else. Ye have both said what ye want to say, ye are clearly never going to agree on the answer so either move on or take it to private chat. As with everything, balance is required and some of the u20s will have to play both competitions, that’s what ...

Re: NFL Div 3 predictions 2023
We went 4 up with about 8 or 9 mins to go and then Longford threw the kitchen sink at us. 4 mins added time meant a prolonged assault but we held them to 3 points. The winning of the game was due to our discipline. Longford forced to shoot under pressure and although they shot narrowly wide with 2 g...

Re: Minor Football
Super win over Meath today. After going behind in the 4th minute of injury time too. These lads must have a lot of character to dig that one out and after being trounced by Kildare too.

Re: Offaly u20 2021
I've been trying all day with no luck. Very frustrating but there's a new link on the Roscommon GAA twitter page and I just got 5 tickets with less than a minutes wait.
Apologies for not posting the link here but my tech skills are limited

Re: James McCarthy Dublin
David Henry played for Dublin and I think his uncle is Vincent Henry from the 1982 team. Also Ciaran Kilkenny's mother is an Offaly woman but I cannot remember where she hails from.

Re: Development Squads Deserve Respect and a Profile
I was talking to a young lad who just made the Dublin U15 squad and they played Waterford recently. The Waterford chap told him that the Offaly U15 side "was class" and were ones to watch. Let's hope we can keep them together right through the ranks

Re: Offaly v Kildare, Senior football qualifier, 4th July
Just wondering if anyone else thinks that high tackles are endemic now in Gaelic football? Last night I thought that Kildare were guilty of a huge number of this type of foul. Also today there were loads of them in the Munster final and watching highlights on the Sunday game I saw examples in other ...

Re: Liam Dunne vs. Michael Duignan
I also was in Parnell Park for that game and I left it feeling sick at what I witnessed. There was so much going on off the ball that you could be looking anywhere on the field and seeing trouble. Duignan gave Wexford the works alright but in fairness he also called out Dublins Conor McCormack who w...
