Re: U21 Football Management
very impressive win again tonight, well done fellas, management and players alike. The work rate was excellent. It was very clear from the outset that Kildare were a seriously well prepared team physically in terms of strength and conditioning as they were bigger stronger and faster than offaly, wit...

Re: Offaly Minors
Apologies, meant to post this here instead of another thread there is a very good minor team there this year, probably one of the best in a long while. they are winning with their schools in Moate, Gallen and Edenderry and this confidence will help if brought to the county team. This group were unpl...

Re: Antrim v Offaly
agree offaly proud, there is absolutely no momentum there at the moment and it is a very hard thing to change or get going in a very competitive division 3 with everyone seriously expecting to beat us and playing us without fear. I thought there would have been an improved performance at the weekend...

Re: U21 Football Management
went across this evening to see a very impressive performance against a team that seemed physically bigger than offaly. there was great spirit in the OY team tonight and it was great to see so many OY people turn out to support them. Offaly seemed to set themselves up to stay in the game and tactica...

Re: Offaly vs Roscommon NFL Div 3 12th February 2012
With all due respect, i think you should read the full post and stop taking isolated sentences out of context. If you did this you will actually realise that i am speaking a little sense. If i were to do this I could suggest that you are saying that "running isn't exactly the best tool for a ba...

A properly structured gym program over a 3 or 4 month period should get a player to the training field in January in great condition 1 Overall body strength 2 Aerobically 3 core strength and joint mobility 4 and probably most importantly, flexibility 5 skills Unfortunately, a lot of the people plan...

Re: Offaly v Longford National League
I think in fairness that a clean out was needed badly and the management have gone that way. However, i do agree with deadandgone and think that the likes of Scott Brady and Karl Slatts should still be around the place. However, Karl Slattery left of his own accord despite Gerry Cooney openly statin...

Re: Offaly v Longford National League
hanamy and currams to me are way to slow for county team, granted conditions would prob suit slower player but when it comes to summer football i cant see these moving to quick. no harm in changing things around tho, dalton and brady were poor in all the o byrne cup games so far so i reckon its wor...

Re: Sports Massage Recommendations Locally?
Good few good people out there. Wouldnt look too far past Declan Foy Killeigh, Paula Reynolds, Geashill, John Grehan Ferbane, Pat Costelloe Moate. There are probably a few more too who would be good but them four are among the best around and have worked extensively with county footballers and hurle...

Re: Offaly Senior Inter County Hurling 2012
disappointing result for the hurlers today, expected better than that to be fair despite missing the coolderrys. just wondering if any one has a report and who played well. Should we really be surprised that the westies are getting closer to us given their underage development structure has brought ...
