Long time no post from me I know
I would like to see ex Wexford manager Jason Ryan or someone like that take over, he did a fantastic job at Wexford in bringing a team that wouldn't be considered top tier up to at least top tier in Leinster and taking some good scalps along the way. With a ...

Just some general thought on this issue;
An Gaeltacht is noted as one of the smaller teams that have won Kerry Championships. An Gaeltacht were part of the West Kerry Divisional side for a long time (P. O Se's team) but opted to go it alone at senior when they won the intermediate championship.

Terrible performance, looks like we haven't made any progress at all.
In fairness to Dublin they could only beat what was put before them and they did enough.
Fair play to Conor Evans who came in and gave a good honest effort and never stopped tracking players and clearing ball. For a guy who hasn't ...

The thing that impressed me most the last day was the quality of ball into our forwards. Diagonal passing that has the potential to open up a defense and with players like Niall Mc and now Ward in there a good supply of ball in is crucial.
For that supply to be good we need to win our fair share in ...

Last win
I had to look this up this morning in the results section.
Somebody said to me yesterday that we hadn't beaten the Dubs in Championship since '82, and looking at teh results that seems indeed to be the case. I didn't realise that, it really puts into context how much a win on Sunday would mean.

I'm sorry but this prefessionalism vs Amatuerism debate can really wind me up!
Its not about that at all. Yes the GAA need to continue the promotion of our games worldwide, call it what you like but this "Hybrid" game is neither GAA nor AFL, and so to talk about Gaelic football benchmarking itself ...

Any room left on the Mickey Harte bandwagon?
I was a great fan of this game since it's revival in '98, but what happened on sunday was disgraceful. I mean how can the Aussies 6 pointer be considered a goal while there's a fully fledged brawl out the field? The blame lies squarley witht he Aussies for proceeding to play in this way tactically ...

Rhode?
Any prices on Rhode to lift the Leinster Crown? (The corporate firewall prevents me from checking the relevant sites!)

KK got plenty of slating on this site, some of it well earned some of it not. I always said that he'd be judjed by the champ performances, to be fair there was a huge step forward in that regard this year. It was unfortunate that Div 1 status wasn't maintained.
I wonder who will step in now? Good ...

Pity McManus has missed out, himself and SM Lockart are the most capped players in the hybrid game as far as I know. With Lockhart named on t he training squad it looks like Mc will be forced to concede the title which is a real pity for him. Especially since its unlikely that anyone else will match ...
