Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
Fixture list says full round of Senior, Intermediate and Junior Hurling Championship on the weekend of 13th July. I would have to presume that round 3 on the masters fixture list would now be round 2 and so on until group stages finishes.

Re: Offaly versus Kildare 16th June 2012
Offaly wont line out like that. Given a team in on a Tuesday gives an even stronger hint that they wont. There is fitness tests for 5 or 6 lads on Saturday morning, some of which are down to play and others subs. The naming of the 1 to 15 is needed for programme numbers etc...and I cant see it lining...

Re: Offaly v Laois NHL Round 1 26/2/12
Does anyone know the state of play regarding injuries? And in particular the following players- Stephen Egan, Paul Cleary, David Kenny, Brendan Murphy. I only mention these guys as they seem to be carrying niggles on and off and get it hard get an injury free run at a year. Stephen Egan wont play a...

Re: Players Of The Year
who picks the players of the year anyway? Its the local journalists who pick them. Football was picked by Kevin Corrigan, Damian Moran and Mary Dunne while the hurling was picked by Alan Walsh and Brian Lowry. That's the way its been for the past number of years with Brian Lowry taking over from Jo...

The awards run with senior, intermediate, junior, U21 and minor for each code. Should be interesting. Out of the...

Re: Junior A Football
2 quarter finals down for this weekend and the other two the following weekend. This weekend see Ferbane v Kilcormac/Killoughey go at it in Ballinamere on Friday night at 7.30 under lights. K/K are left in a good few adult competitions and Im sure they could have done without this with a Senior Hurl...

Re: Junior A Football
is it just the junior b football or is it all junior, hurling and football? It is just the junior B football as far as I know. The Junior A football is definitely 4 quarter finals. Not sure on the hurling. Killeigh and Edenderry looks to be an interesting game in the Junior A this Friday night. Kill...

Re: Junior A Football
Group 1 is not decided yet either. If Killeigh win their last 2 games, they will top group 1 with Ferbane in their last game. If the get over Edenderry and beat Ferbane they will top it on a head to head with Ferbane. Will Ballycommon put it up to K/K, if they win they will be in a quarter final as ...

Re: Junior A Football
I see round 5 is down for decision this weekend. A few interesting games. Both Clara and Ferbane lost a few to there senior teams the last weekend so it will be interesting to see if they can come through their games. Killeigh are tipping along nicely and should qualify and will pose a threat to any...
