Congratulations to everybody involved in Ballycumber. Fantastic effort against our old rivals from down the road. There will be a few sick heads this morning.
Club S management will be delighted with this result!

Re: Next Manager
Ah here, Eugene McGee was hardly unknown. He cut his teeth in UCD taking on the strongest club side in the land in St. Vincents. He found a way to beat Heffo and used that when he took on him again with Dublin and O'Dwyer with Kerry. When you consider that he did this to two men who are considered t...

Re: Long Term Fixtures Plan Released
It's pretty easy really. Name your first 15 senior players then play anybody on junior teams after that. It might result in a few players playing Junior then straight into Senior and some clubs may bend the rules and include lads who are travelling or unavailable in their first 15 but it beats train...

Re: Offaly players in Fitzgibbon/Sigerson Cup competitions
Rory did indeed score 6 points from centre forward on a strong Garda team. Best for Garda were centre back Mullaghy, midfielder O'Mahoney and forwards Buckley, Rory and John O'Brien. Glennon won a lot of ball in front of his man but rarely got away from him as he was fouled whenever he turned. The i...

Re: Offaly Minor Management A Complete Joke
Is there a copy of that questionnaire that we could download somewhere? Also this is the first I have heard about it - no I'm not secretary or PRO of my club - so has it been promoted in the local papers? In fact why can't the CB use this site to promote ideas? There are far more lurkers than contri...

Re: Referee's to strike on........
Further to this topic I noticed this on the An Fear Rua site.... I had an interesting conversation with a lawyer over the weekend. It seems that while players exempt themselves somewhat from the rule of law in relation to assault by participating contact sport, there is a duty of care on the hosting...

Rory Guinan and Niall Darby are still involved in this competition. The Garda team is a very decent outfit and should progress to play UUJ in the final.
