Yeah we enjoy beating the shit out of each other too much to play together. Tubber and Bally team up well though.

Tipsters competition-3rd round
Hey LS, any go on the next round of the tipsters? Good idea about the night-time leagues for 8 a side games. If I was in the capital I would be well up for it. These things take time to organise and can be slow burners, which is what you would want until you worked out the best way to run it. I'm su...

Have to reiterate all thats has been said here. For a man to miss one All Ireland in 69 years (because it was in New York) speaks volumes about his love and passion for the GAA. As a kid following the football around in the field in Ballycumber I remember Bill always there, watching and offering enc...

Good man Peter Bracken
I remember playing against Peter when I was fifteen and he already had a beard. He was doing great for Munster before his switch to Connacht but now if he gets into the front row and Quinns stay up he will be mixing it with White, Rowntree and Bell. Bodes well for an Irish cap. Girve the swerve was ...

THE balance of power to change the rules governing the use of Croke Park now rests with the GAA's exiles. In a dramatic shift on Monday night, Meath, Waterford and Donegal all voted to relax the rule while Lansdowne Road is being redeveloped. And Kildare and Offaly last night also opted to support t...

Bad Album Covers
Some of these are so shockingly bad you should get a laugh from them. None from Foster and Allen yet though?

Throw open the doors at Croker
So Offaly voted unanimously in favour of opening up Croker for Rugby and Soccer. The vote is going to be close. Once a load of delegates don´t get the runs and have to leave for the toilet together.

Fringe players and good subs
Now that the team for the championship has been 90% nailed down who can we expect will make the subs bench with a view to taking some part in the game. You have to be careful in this situation because some players need time to get into the flow of the game while others are great at springing from th...
