Re: Kildare vs Offaly - 2009 Football Championship
Surley the lads will put in a big performance against Kildare. The White jersey should rise them big time . A little suprised to see so many changes .This can only be good however, if the younger lads play well tomorrow and upset the odds in Portlaoise there will be some real competition for ...

I was just wondering did many of ye watch this programme? I think its all intermediate teams that are in the competition . Maryland of Westmeath won it last year ang that small club from a village in Co.Down winning it this year. It would be great to see a club from Offaly appear on it next year . D...

Re: OFFALY 1.15 LOUTH 0.16
I thought the offaly lads made very hard work of this team in the last 8 minutes or so they seemed to be trying to hold out Louth rather than trying to push on and win the game . In thye first half we seen the offaly forwards score some nice free flowing points but as the game got older offaly start...

Re: Offaly Minors 2009
On paper should be one of the best teams in Leinster .With the majourity of last yers panilists and with reat tallent to be brought into this years squad they have the potential to win leinster at least.Goin by last years minor club and county games my first 15 would look somthing like this. The man...

Re: Help needed for photojournalism thesis on 125 years of GAA
This probably isn't the appropiate place to post this question as uibhfhaili gal1 will be looking through for more comments on where to go to take photos i'd suggest maybe the leinster g.a.a summer camps and try and arrange an interview with the conner family in Walsh Island. I was just wondering do...

Re: OFFALY V CAVAN.
I was disgusted last summer when we were out supported in the championship by Westmeath supporters and then to be outshouted by down suppporters.I know the hurlers were playing the same day as the football but there didnt seem to be to many supporrtes at that either even by looking at sharks home pa...

Re: Offaly v Carlow, NHL, 08/03/09
Fair play to the hurlers yesterday easily beating Carlow without making a fuss of it .If they didnt win theese games by more than 6 or 7 points the county would be in uproar.Infairness to them they can only beat whats put on front of them and I can't see them slipping to Antrim judging by their resu...

Shamrocks beat St.colmens today in muchlagh by 3 or 4 points.

Cribben gets the job
Delegates in Offaly have ratified Tom Cribben as manager of the county's footballers. The former Laois supremo was the only name put forward at a specially convened county board meeting in Tullamore tonight. Cribben replaces Richie Connor in the position and will take charge for the rest of the year...
