Re: Kids dropped from development squad
Delighted this has blown up in Kelly's face. He's a guy on a power trip. Wins an All Ireland and thinks he can dictate what he likes. Never mind letting lads play soccer he won't let them play hurling. Kids need to be allowed experience as many disciplines as possible and afterall they are supposed ...

Re: Offaly Hurlers 2022
The improvements at underage are there to be seen in hurling if you're willing to look closely enough. Go back 7 or 8 years ago and we were regularly taking beatings from Laois, Carlow, Westmeath and struggling with Kildare and Meath. We now have pushed our noses back infront of these counties. Play...

They best example of Limerick brain power is they moved on for the small hurler thing 5 of their 6 def...

Re: Glenisk to replace Carrolls as Offaly sponsor
It will look strange to mot see Carroll'son the geansaí any more, bit the Glenisk deal obviously will be a major boost for the coffers. A big thank you to Carroll's for their fantastic support. Three decades is some commitment and they stuck by through the good times and bad. Lets hope the new spons...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
The league is obviously going to be very challenging, but going by the results in 2A this year the team will be more thsn capable of giving the Joe McDonagh cup a good rattle. The team that started on Sunday has not one player who won't benefit from being a year older. The age profile is excellent a...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Any word why Rory Dunne was dropped. Thought he was good last few games. one would think if the lad wasn't from kelligh it wouldn't have been the case...just saying Go and have a look at the team sheet and the list of players' clubs before you come out with rubbish like this. It's an insult to the ...

Re: 2020 Co Finals
Bit farcical that last year’s championships at lower levels arent being played now. What’s the hold up? Possibly players involved doing the leaving cert. Also by delaying until July more supporters will be allowed to attend. Pretty sure it was passed a few years ago that LC students can’t hold up a...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
To me Brennan did nothing wrong. It was a perfectly timed hit. The problem was Brennan was a man and Hickey a boy. Hickey naively came up the line with the ball alomost looking for contact. Brenban didn't need a second invitation and executed it perfectly, just like Padraig Maher's hit on Joe Cannin...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
This nonsense that the game has somehow organically "evolved" into it's current state. It hasn't. It has been hijacked by a bunch of professionals who have systematically destroyed the game to line their own pockets. Name me one other sport in the world that has changed so dramatically in...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2021
Best of Luck to the Lads. The lads taking the field are good hurlers but the problem is if Meath turn up to play hurling we could be in trouble, Cause we be trying to do everything but play the game. With the way we play the game we have work 50% time harder than the other team to have a hope of wi...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2020
Best of luck to the minors this weekend. Reaching a leinster final for a Tier 3 county would be a great achievement! Funnily enough the Leinster council seem to have forgotten that. Their fixture list stated last week the semifinal would be played in the home venue of the lower tier county. Im open ...

If it wasn't for all these covid restrictions we could organise a welcome to galatsaray arrival for the dubs!
Maybe we coukd all get our shopping bags and let on we're going shopping in Tesco and hold up the bus.
