Re: Compulsory Hurling Helmets
Are we gonna soon see teams now make helmets part of the kit. Helmets matching Jerseys, with Crests on them?

Re: tullamore
Haha... being the begrudger that I am, I had a little look back over the results of the championship this year. Can anyone tell me why there is group stages at all in the Hurling championship if no team gets eliminated, but goes into the "first round proper". It seems completely pointless ...

Re: champions
To be fair I don't know if he belittled them. Whatever the disagreement, I heard from a couple of reliable sources that during the disagreement, Philo told Kevin to "come back to me when you have a county medal". Belitting enough in my opinion. Obviously Martin could well have reminded hi...

Re: champions
Yeah, Lone Shark! You don't have a clue! Who do you think you are, giving your opinion on how you think a match will go! You're always at that, predicting scores and outcomes of matches, and sometimes you're wrong, so you don't have a clue. You and Kevin Corrigan, Eamonn Dunphy, Colm O'Rourke, Joe B...

Re: Footballers dropped?
I heard last nite that Aidan Keeneghan & Jason Kelly were brought back into the panel from a very reliable source?? They beat Leitrim by 2 points in a challenge in Doon last nite, heard they were septic!!! Isn't Aidan Keenaghan just after getting his cast off his broken arm? He was hardly train...

Re: Shane Lowry in the Irish Open
Meant to say , the Clara crowd did Offaly proud. A load of Scanlons and the rest of Clara gave a great rendition of the Offaly rover in the bar in Baltray. The regular golf crowd didn't know what to make of us. There might be a link to a video of it soon. As for turning pro, I think he'd be mad not ...

Re: Shane Lowry in the Irish Open
Yeah, Shaper has been his caddy for a while now.
Obviously half of Clara was up in Baltray today, but the support from Offaly in General was phenomenal. Every time i turned around I saw an Offaly jersey, jacket or umbmrella.
Fair play to him, it's a massive win for him!

Re: offaly v limerick
Happy that we're safe and happy with some of the performances on display on Sunday. Clara lads gave a very good account of themselves and why Sean Ryan was dragged is beyond me. I also thought Niall Smith was excellent again. When bringing on McManus though, why drag Sean Ryan? That left us effectiv...

Re: Who will you be cheering for in the Heineken Cup semi?
There are plenty of Man United fans and Liverpool fans all over England.
I'll be supporting Leinster but if they are beaten I'll be supporting Munster in the final.

Re: OFFALY V CAVAN.
So I can't wear Sunglasses to a game or have a girlfriend in the stands without being called a sunshine supporter? Even though I've missed one football and two hurling league games because of work commitments? Seems a little bit harsh. But I don't understand why people are getting annoyed by sunshin...
