Re: County finals
have to agree wit me name sake baz.. in offaly, junior/intermediate football people or B clubs (whatever you want to call them) have way too much say in hurling and football matters in offaly. look at all the people in the county board.. they're all from intermediate or junior football clubs..

Players that never filled their potential
Anyone know any players they think never made it with serious potential under-age??
I'd have to go with Eoin Marsden.. that lad basically won a minor for tullamore on his own a few years ago even though he was only 16..
Adrian Cahill obviously in the hurlin aswell.

Re: Tullamore
basically no tullamore team is allowed to train or play matches in there unless a letter is written to the county board first acsking for permission. that for me means its the county boards pitch if tulllamore have to write a letter to look and use it.

Re: Paul McConway
I was at the match and couldnt fault Catch. The only incidnet that puzzled me was the trip at the end.. couldnt understand how it wasn't a penalty or free at least. But Catch wasnt the reason tullamore lost.. more like their cocky attitude and out of it at midfield. ferbane number 12 and jimmy grenn...

Re: Tullamore
one thing.. O'Connor Park is not Tullamore's home pitch. O'Brien Park is. The senior footballers havent played or trained in there once this year. Its the county boards pitch.

Next Manager
Ok experts who's the man for the football job?? I'm going with Luke Dempsey, He's an intelligent guy, experienced at county level, knows the offaly scene and he brought Westmeath and Longford from nowhere to decent competitors. I just dont think Darby or Connor are up to it and O'Reilly is a bit you...
