Given those criteria, then Gerard Houllier is yer man.

I saw it, as I've been glued to the 'Hidden History' series so far. This story from Cadamstown has remained in folklore, not for the fact that something between 14 and 30 Volunteers rounded up 2 Protestant/Unionist farmers and shot them, but the fact of HOW they were shot. This era in our history is...

It's only a jibe :D I lived in Port for years so understand the cross-border mentality. I remember giving John Guinan a hard time for years, when we worked together, .. sure you can't beat a bit of slagging!

Ah, don't mind the Gracers, they're closet Laoismen anyway  As LS said, I can see where a 'rot' can set in, but can Daingean make it back to senior??? Not at the moment, but they should be Inters at least. To clarify the geographical question, I refer to the clubs like Clonmore,Ballyfore, Clonb...

There's plenty of football in Daingean, getting it out of them is the problem. Too many players haven't really put it in over the last couple of seasons. They lost a bit of belief/faith in themselves, got a bit back this year, but still a bit to go. Rhode & Edenderry are now the only senior team...

Those odds will change when the draw is made. Like if Dublin & Meath get drawn on the same half of the draw, then odds on the likes of Laois & Kildare will sharpen, or whoever is on the opposite side of the draw. PS. just noticed boylesports have Meath @ 9/2 . That's where my score is going....

2008 Betting

Was looking at PaddyPowers Odds for 2008 Leinsters. Hurling: Kilkenny 1/18 :o Wexford 11/1 Offaly 18/1 It's so hard to believe a team can be 18 to 1 ON, why don't they just suspend betting on Kilkenny. Football: Dublin 10-11, Meath 7-2, Laois 9-2, Kildare 12-1, Louth 14-1, Offaly 16-1, Westmeath 16-...

It varies between Offaly Express & Tullamore Tribune, generally whichever comes to hand.

From what I've seen and heard, it's Shamrocks & Tullamore.
I'm going for the outsiders. Shamrocks have improved, and I think enough to give Rhode a run for it.
Tullamore might have enough in the full back line to stifle Clara's attack, if Clara don't start with confidence, the blues will win.
