Petrol and Diesel Prices in Offaly
Not a G.A.A related topic both more of a finacial related one. There doesnt seem to be much of a reduction in petrol prices in the faithful county at the moment. I thought that all the contributers on this page could help to keep an eye out on the price of petrol and diesel especially and we could k...

Re: Joe Canning
just thinking last night and im not taking anything away anything from the present Offaly team , but i think if we had Joe Canning playing for us , we would be serious All Ireland contenders. Looking at the second game yesterday , i reckon Offaly would also have taken galway.

Can we please not have this ref in another Offaly game please. How in the name of God was the flick that Joe Bergin made when the ball was in flight mid way through the second half a free?? - Did he ever read the rulebook ? This was at a crucial stage when only a point between the teams. For John Mu...

Re: brian carroll
Fair play to caroll yesterday. I thought he had a great game albeit faded out a little in the second half and missed a few pressure frees in the second, but had a great first half with some good scores and passes/

Re: Joe Dooley vs Scrappy Doo
The offaly selectors would have sorted him out fairly quick. The head on David Fitz during the match and the tension on his little red face. I dont think he has done much with Waterford and I dont think they will go much futher either It took him a long time to bring on Brian Phelan when everybody c...

Some genius - some of the points he scored yesterday were of the best ive ever seen scored off no lesser opponent than gardiner. the way he moved and shimmed on the ball , he reminded me of when brian whelehan played in the forwards in the 1998 all ireland and played havoc with the defence. Fair sco...

Offaly Vs Waterford-your thoughts?/ The Championship so far?
How will Offaly fair out against Waterford ? I think they could have a great chance but would be worried about the Waterford forwards. How do you think the other game will fair out. The Offaly Waterford game is a unique pairing and possibly the first time they have played each other in Senior champi...

Re: Qualifier draws
Is it just me or did the draw for the hurling and football look very dodge???? Our esteemed president looked straight into the bowl, no mix or anything and deliberately picked out certain balls. Either this was a total fix, or total and utter ineptitude. Whichever it was, it was not good enough. Ba...

Re: Feile Na nGael 2008 - Laois Offaly
I was at the finals in Portlaoise today and I have to say that I thought the standard of hurling was very high. The pace and touch of some of the under 14 players was exceptional - similiar to that of an intercounty team.James Stephens won the final albeit in dramatic fashion . Na Piarsaigh of cork w...

Davy Fitz & Waterford.
Ok its old news at this stage - about two weeks late ! but how do you think that Davy Fitz will do - is he a waste of money. doesnt look like he achieved much with Nenagh as for waterford - are the players still there. When Bond came in in 1998 not too many gave Offaly much of a chance ? can it be r...
