Re: Meeting In Tullamore

Re: Numbers
Here goes . . . I don’t have the 2016 census figures, so it’s based on the 2011 census which is unlikely to be materially different. Moneygall (in Tipperary for the GAA): Cullenwaine 703, Templeharry 210, Barna 156, Dunkerrin 359. TOTAL 1,428 Shinrone: Shinrone 965, Cangort 213, Ballincor 160. TOTA...

Re: Memories of an Offaly man in Croke Park
Was there ever definitive proof as to whether the ball went over the end line in the 82 Leinster final ? Matt Ruth couldn't believe his luck and nearly missed as I seem to remember. Would we have handled Cork in an AI final that year ? I think in 82 we played as well as any year we won an AI I reme...

Re: Offaly GAA Media Access
Secondly, in the modern era these things aren't put up on social media for likes and hits, they are put up there because there are a lot of people who consume their news in that way. exactly as I mentioned a few weeks back. Midland sport uploading two pictures making a mockery of our young hurlers....

I remember the time you phoned into TV3's now defunct late night sports show and verbally abused Keith Barr live on air. Aidan Cooney was shocked!Bord na Mona man wrote:

Some of the more high profile members of the Kerry set up at that time are the most grudging of Offaly's 82 success

Ah the old Paul O'Kelly debate...it's like looking back on the girl who you dumped all those years ago & wonder where you'd be if you had stayed with her. In all likelihood you'd be exactly where u are today...& the same is true of Offaly football & Paul O'Kelly!! Great analogy untoucha...

Re: National Hurling League Pools 2014
Toxicity should the cork v Tipp match not be marked as a draw as per normal betting rules? I think I got some results correct too! Results Clare by 4 Kilkenny by 12 Galway by 8 Tipperary by 3 Dublin by 5 Antrim by 4 Armagh by 16 Don Hurley ...........75 + 13 = 88 Conard...............72 + 11 = 83 Ji...
