Re: IFC
Very true, seldom do teams "deserve" something, unless they go out and win the particular games. Walsh Island have some excellent players but I suggest they lack a few to be considered a top quality team. This does not mean they will not win the intermediate championship though. Regarding ...

Re: Fields- Good and Bad
In relation to finding the pitch in Bracknagh, there is a signpost on the main portarlington-bracknagh road, and also on the main edenderry-bracknagh road towards the pitch, and again at the top of the lane down to the field. It does not take too much effort to look out for a sighpost to find a pitc...

Re: Footballers dropped?
There are some valid arguments on both sides of this discussion, but in my opinion we are going a little over the top by banning the naming of these players. If the word comes through from a reliable source, until verified, surely we can discuss "the alledged" expulsion of player A or play...

Re: League Football Round Up
Very true, and if K/K were to concentrate on football for the season,
they would be an extremely strong junior team, probably to the detriment of
other junior clubs, as they (K/K) really belong at a higher grade.

Re: League Football Round Up

Either through hurling precedence or other motivation, or lack there of, they lost out in a three way play off to be relegated to Junior last year. Th...

Re: League Football Round Up
It is very early in the year to start making predictions about relegation to junior and the like. Its fair to say at this stage certain teams with some good training work done would be leagues ahead of those starting late. If Bracknagh are relegated to junior then that is where they belong. If they ...
