Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Why not him? Because why on earth would he want to come to Offaly? A division 3 team who got slaughtered in the tailteann cup. He’s a proven coach/manager and could virtually get any gig in the country he wants I’d imagine Offaly would be well well well down his list Well with an attitude like that...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Niall Mcnamee can’t play no.11 at county level anymore I think Nigel Dunne’s county days are behind him. Leaving ruairi Mcnamee out is also a big shout he’s very consistent in my opinion

Re: Club Football Championship 2022

Doonexile I think you could be eating humble pie in a few weeks time on those comments. He hasn’t trained in a month since the league final and was visibly limping in the second half.Sat out the cappincur game because he thought Ferbane would’ve been good enough to win without him clearly injured ye...

Re: Club Football Championship 2022

Tullamore v Ferbane was a proper championship game. Huge hits and intensity right from the start. Ferbane went 4 ahead in the first half but a lucky tullamore goal from a ball dropped into the square seemed to take the wind out of their sails. Tullamore were deserving of victory in the end they show...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Not going down the rabbit hole of comparing two of our most talented players but you only have to look at what they’ve won over their careers and who stood up in the big games to answer that question for me. Bryant and O’Neill played against division 4 opposition and a pub team in this years tailtea...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Not sure what your issue is with Cian Johnson. Won every underage medal in Offaly won all player of the year awards has received motm in all Ireland schools minor u20 and senior finals clutch player who always delivers on the big day. As good a finisher as I’ve seen in Offaly including Niall McNamee...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Any predictions for the league final this weekend? I can’t separate Ferbane and Tullamore to be honest they’ve been the two best teams in the league by a long way. Tullamore will be missing Cormac Egan John Furlong And Oisin Keenan-Martin Ferbane will be down Oisin Kelly and maybe Leon Fox too bar t...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

It was men against boys yesterday Westmeath are a more seasoned team they’ve played in Leinster finals against Dublin and ran Kildare close in two semi-finals Offaly just haven’t been doing that. Offaly played for pride in the second half but that rally counts for nothing in my opinion it’s a lot ea...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Cian Farrell is in New York for the summer which I suggest rules him out of Edenderrys club championship 2022. Eoin rigney is still rehabbing his cruciate hasn’t played any club league yet. I’d imagine he will be back for Rhodes club championship as his injury is over 12 months now. Oisin Kelly is i...
