Re: Offaly v Leix Round 3 Qualifier

Midfield appears to be somewhat of an issue for Leix from what I’ve read anyway.
With Mangan at WF, there’s scope for us to aerially dominate.

I don’t believe Begley played the last day either due to injury. Irrespective of who plays at CHB for them, we need to run at them.

Re: Offaly v Leix Round 3 Qualifier

Who are Leix?? Never heard of them!! Queen’s County. Match is in Maryborough. How would a fella get there from Bracknagh? Would he take the Cooletoodera road? Back of the tannery! (Ya Anglicised it) I’ve a few focal in my head. Aye I suppose so. I hope that the flags are up already. Them fec...

Re: Offaly v Leix Round 3 Qualifier

Who are Leix?? Never heard of them!! Queen’s County. Match is in Maryborough. Interesting to note that Offaly haven't beaten Laois in the championship in 17 years. Pretty amazing. What’s another week, not even? I think London travel for all qualifier games regardless While I’m not 100% sure on this...

Re: Offaly v Leix Round 3 Qualifier

I know that we’re due an away game, but does anyone else think that it’s complete BS as to why Leix get home advantage? They should have pulled for the team to play WH then reentered LX to the bowl and whoever comes out first gets home advantage. It would seem to be fairer, then again …… That being ...

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

Leahy? No thanks.
I’m sure Sam from Kinnitty (or was it Kinnity or Kinitty) would only love for Danny Owens to get it.

I’d say Fleury is happy in his role with T na G.

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

While not dismissing his credentials, from talking with members of this via PM, the feeling is that we would be better served if Gary was in his current role for another 2 years at least.

I don't consider myself a keyboard warrior, so I won't say much.
What I will say is that I couldn't figure out if it was sales pitch or an exercise in stating the obvious!
I just said that I’d put it up. I haven’t seen it really yet. Was sent on the link.

Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager

Just said I’d open the floor so to speak. Two names spring to my mind, one insider, one outsider. I shall throw them out after a few posts. The insider is fairly obvious, while the outsider would be quite obscure to many, perhaps.

Re: Offaly U20s Football

On a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-14, with Edenderry’s Cian Farrell chipping in with 1-11, 0-03 from play according to Mary Dunne.
Onwards and upwards again!
I presume Leinster starts in a couple of weeks?
