Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2025
Just going with the glass half empty option for this post and I am not suggesting this will actually happen. But we have to tease out all scenarios. It’s widely accepted that Johnny Kelly and Leo O’Connor wouldn’t have the best working relationships (the rights and wrongs here can be interpreted her...

Re: U20 club championship
No one will keep it within single digits if they have their full team out. I think K/K had 11 players either on the Offaly U20 panel or extended panel. Also, Tullamore should be ashamed to lose a championship hurling march to Carrig&Riverstown and Crinkle by 30 points. That result is an absolut...

Dan Bourke had an excellent game for Ballinamere.pigeon house biffo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 8:10 pm Thought brian duignan was the only Ballinamere forward to turn up today, if he’d any sort of help they’d have won it. Though ballinamere competed very well up to midfield but they couldn’t get a grip in the forwards.

Re: SENIOR HURLING FINAL 2024
A fantastic game in the conditions. A testament to both teams. You can tactically analyse the game until the cows come home but K/K won simply because they have the most prodigious talent this county has seen since Brian Whelahan and Ballinamere don’t. If Adam Screeney was in a Ballinamere jersey to...

Re: Offaly Minor Football 2024
So the solution to Tullamore and KkS dominance is to form a new club in Tullamore when there already is on in B/D there is an agreement in place that kids from the town if they wish to play with B/D there’s no issue as it’s the same parish. Tullamore have there structures coaches S&c etc all in...

Re: SENIOR HURLING FINAL 2024
November and December hurling is a totally different ball game. A slow corner back isn’t quite as exposed. The ball doesn’t travel as far. Free taking is crucial. Just hard to know as of yet with K/K and Leinster or All Irelands. There’s also the possibility Ballinamere win on Sunday. Which seems to...

Re: Offaly Minor Football 2024
Tullamore have already won the U13 and U15 A championships in football this year. Plus the U15 seconds competition. I presume they will win the minor. Plus whatever they won last year. Benath that, seemingly Scoil Eoin Pol in the town doninate Cumann na mBunscol football. This underage dominance won...
