Re: Senior A hurling 2018
I have a sneaking fancy for Belmont this year. Their graph is definitely on an upward curve. Last year they were comfortably better than Kinnitty in the Quarter - Final and should have won by more only for some wayward free taking while the belt given to Oisin Kelly undoubtedly affected his performa...

Re: 2018 NHL
I think Offaly will compete with Dublin who will be missing the Cuala bhoys and others through college hurling commitments. We will see where both teams are next weekend. Less than 3 weeks to croker.. They won't be missing any players due to college commitments. Counties have full access to their c...

Re: Offaly Senior Squad 2018
That would be a fairly big oversight alright not calling up Seamus Callanan if he was available. Did he fall out with Michael Ryan and transfer to Carrig and Riverstown?
Not calling up Eoghan Callaghan however doesn't have the same air of irresponsibility in my opinion.

Re: Offaly Senior Squad 2018
Sean and Michael Cleary not asked in. Crazy decision Eoghan Callaghan not asked in. Barry Kealey not asked in. No offence to Ciaran Cleary, as I'm sure he'd admit himself, that Sean and Michael Cleary are miles ahead of him at this moment in time Agreed. In fairness to the chap he didn't turn down ...

Re: 2018 Walsh Cup
I still think Seán Cleary has something to offer in the forward line if I was looking at Shinrone forwards.LooseCannon wrote:Played FF vs KK in the QF of the championship.frankthetank wrote:Ciarán Cleary hasn't been starting regularly for Shinrone has he?

As I said I'm not up to speed with the panel but if Sean Ryan is available then he would occupy one of the wing back slots for me yes.

Re: 2018 Walsh Cup
I'm actually not 100% au fait (Is that how you spell it?) with the panel but maybe something along these lines: 1. Conor Slevin 2. Ben Conneely 3. Dermot Shortt 4. Paddy Rigney 5. Pat Camon 6. Conor Doughan 7. Paddy Delaney / Enda Grogan 8. David King 9. Shane Kinsella 10. Paddy Murphy 11. Conor Mah...
