It was bound to happen eventually.
The close proximity to all those Leix townie gougers from Portarlington is starting to pollute the minds of the Gracefield players.

Joe Brady
4 in the onion bag yesterday!
Is he the new John Fitzgibbon, Nicky Rackard or DJ Carey.
Well maybe not yet. Still it's good for his confidence to be bagging goals.
The team selected had a better looking shape to it yesterday.
Surely Kilkenny shot their load yesterday against Wexford?

Offaly hurlers to miss the Leinster championship next year!
According to RTE's match preview. Shurely shome mishtake! http://www.rte.ie/sport/2005/0415/nhl.html Division 2. Offaly must beat Kerry or else they miss the Leinster Championship next season. It is as bleak as that. Even a victory next Sunday does not guarantee safety, if Carlow win all their remai...

Offaly hurlers' league status next year.
Just being doing a bit of calculating. It's highly likely that the hurling league will be restructured after this year. The hammerings that Down, Dublin etc have shipped have virtually assurred this. They'll most likely be reverting to Division 1, 2, 3, 4. Offaly are nearly certs to be in Division 2...

When all is said and and done we should be beating Carlow. I suspected we'd have a tough time in this game, but didn't think we'd lose. Carlow might be improving, but they still lost to Laois by 23 points in last year's championship. Fair enough, back in the 90s we would often lose to the likes of M...

Can anyone give me the low-down on the day to day running of the academy? Who will be doing most of the coaching etc. I'd be all for the Eastern bloc style sporting academies of the Communist era. Promising young players confiscated from their parents. Crazed scientists pumping them full of performa...

What are people's view on possible impact subs? You should always think in terms of a 20 minute player, rather than a man who is pushing for a place in the starting 15. Someone like Alan Mulhall might fit the bill here. Accurate boot, especially if we need to change the game plan and play it in high...
