I think across the two games theres more to be positive about than negative. Is Leon Fox off the panel this year?
Leon is playing rugby with tullamore, according to match reports on the paper

Kildare's county champions beat the Offaly County champions by about 15 pts. If that last league game is crucial for both teams it should be an interesting game. Kildare will have no fear of Offaly.

Serious comeback in the second half when down a player.
Johnny Kelly was baffled by how Offaly fell away after half time last week, so he'll be delighted with the response he got today.

Looked over at half time. Credit Offaly for second half comeback. I was confused in OCP today, no Anthem played, and no PA to announce the substitutes, or added time at the end of each half.
Was everyone on a day off?

Wouldn't happen in Birr

Introduction of Ben Conneely, David King, Eimhin Kelly and especially Charlie Mitchell made a big impact on yesterdays game.. throw Ciaran Burke, the Sampsons, Cillian Kiely, Nally, Oisin Kelly, Delaney in with the team that Offaly had in the second half and we should compete well

A very weird game came out OCP feeling we had lost but won .
First half probably the biggest heap I have seen years .
Second half massive improvement but mask a lot of issues Balycran will sink or swim moment.
But it's a beautiful ground .
Remember there are no shops anywhere near the ground so come prepared.

Has anyone an idea of what players we have making an impression in the fitzgibbon cup?

That is the point that the piece is making. The fact that we don’t have many/any players making a big impact is concerning.
