Hugely frustrating today & all of Offaly must be in Davin. Last time I was there was the 81 hurling final. 🤞

Is it just me or does it feel like their is huge support behind these young men and a real sense of expectation for Sunday ?

18,000 were sold yesterday I'm presuming the remainder were sold out this morning. looks like it will be a great day

There seems to be big support all right. A level of interest I wouldn't have seen since the 00s.
A lot of the people in the hunt for tickets wouldn't have attended many Offaly games in the last few years. There is a sizeable dormant support in the county that is ready to be unlocked if our teams start to challenge again.

That in itself could bring its own pressures to the team. A good crowd can rally the team and give them a lift.
On the other hand, a gang of people turning up expecting this to be a coronation and trophy presentation may not respond too well if it's not going to plan.
