Wonder what would happen if KK senior Bs got to the final? Playoff with two losing semi finalists? Prob unlikely scenario but could happen.

Yeah I would think that would be the best conclusion.

What happens to Senior B and Intermediate?

Senior B will now have 6 teams? Are they making that 10 also?

Think I seen somewhere that senior B is going to stay as one group of 6.

It is. There should be at least 8 teams in each grade.

I hear Martin Dolphin from Portumna has been called into the hurling panel. As offaly are now playing in the 3rd tier of the hurling championship they are allowed 5 players from outside the county, without them getting a transfer to an Offaly club. Not sure if this is a progressive move for the panel.

I presume he is no longer eligible if Offaly get promoted?

Yes, unless he gets a transfer to an Offaly club.

I believe he qualifies under parental rules, assuming that the same applies for hurling as football.

Any player coming to us on the Granny rule, being it a permanent transfer rule. Fair enough!! Be it they want to hurling inter county, etc etc.. Would ave to question why Galway don't want Portumna's number 6 on their team/panel.

Martin Dolphin hurling with Offaly on a temporary basis while in development in madness and can go back to Galway at any point in time.

I see Offaly are out in the Kehoe cup on the 1st Dec.. ( Sunday 2 weeks)..

very interesting to see who or who did not go in. I believe that there is 50 players in there at present and the panel will be cut around xmas.

Fennelly doesn't give a crap about development. He has two years to get to liam McCarthy and then he's gone.
Dolphin has been on Galway panel for few years, just can't break through, fine hurler.

Dolphin won a club all ireland in 2008 against biir as a sub (18 years old), 2009 at corner back and 2014 at center back. Not questioning his ability.

He is now 30 years old, hovering around the Galway panel for the last 5 years. What good is he going to do Offaly hurling.

If he was 23, 24, 25 and in 2 years time he would be center back for offaly but thats not the case, he will be 32 and not what we need.

this shouldn't be Fennellys choice.

Fennelly has Offaly over a barrel. Every thing is his decision or its good luck, goodbye.

If it's true that there are Galway men or anybody who isn't from Offaly being dragged onto the panel then it's a total disgrace. Are we saying there isn't 15 men from the county willing to pull on the jersey? This bringing in lads from the outside goes totally against the spirit of the game in my view. One thing I disliked about Maughan this year was bringing in that chap from Kilmacud who wouldn't stand out on the Clonbullogue team never mind an intercounty football team! Lets pick develop our own players please.

I have to disagree with this. Horan is a exceptional footballer and think your giving Clonbullogue too much credit!!!!
