Antrim vs Offaly, NHL, Sunday 22nd March
Offaly have named an unchanged team for Sunday's Division 1B final round game versus Antrim.
The Faithful County travel to Ballycastle to take on the Saffrons and manager Brian Whelahan is sticking with the same side that recorded a memorable 1-21 to 0-21 victory against Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds last Saturday.
Offaly (NHL v Antrim) -
James Dempsey;
Stephen Wynne, Dermot Shortt, David King;
Cathal Parlon, Colin Egan, Eanna Murphy;
Sean Ryan, Pat Camon;
Emmet Nolan, James Mulrooney, Shane Kinsella;
Brian Carroll, Dan Currams, Shane Dooley.
Offaly name the same team as that started against Limerick.
We all remember last year where Antrim didn't turn up in the last game of the league stage and Offaly hammering them.
The Question Will Antrim do the same on Sunday. Well that depend on the Antrim Management.
Antrim could well want to protect there player for the Laois game in a few weeks as they did and it work real well last year for them.

“Common sense is not so common.”
Re: Antrim vs Offaly
with it been a dead rubber of a game i think there might be 1 or 2 changes before throw in, Antrim have made 5 changes from last weeks hammering from waterford.

I would like to see Stephen Quirke get a run and young Kiely get a start also. There is nothing at stake only the league position and i think we should see a few fresh faces start. I understand if Whelahan and the backroom want to stick with that team because it worked so well last weekend.

Shane Dooley 2-6
Joe Bergin 0-4
Dan Currams 0-3
Brian Carroll 0-2
Stephen Quirke 0-1
Cillian Kiely 0-1
good to win there after last years debate, have to say a lot better in Sids second year, no point in turning up again tipp i suppose as they are the best side in the country this 5 years

Good to see Currams back on the scoreboard again.
