I'd say 85% of clubs in offaly don't have a strenght & fitness coach...so you should have no problem finding a club or 2 to take u on!!

Depends, what are your qualifications? Have you any experience? Do you understand the strength and conditioning requirements for a GAA player - i.e. no point applying Rugby based strength and conditioning to a GAA Player as their requirements are more on building physique whilst a GAA player would require Speed, Flexibility, Core Strength etc.

speed and core strength come from having a greater base of general strength. As does injury prevention and general fitness

most club trainers seem to bring in somebody they know to do a bit with a squad for a few weeks in either pre season or start of field training, then don't continue aspects of it throughout the season.

i know im straying a bit here but ballyhale did not have an edge on kk in fitness strength and conditioning .
j dunne deserves credit because up to 9 of those ballyhale lads worked in a top class set up in kilkenny over years .
b whelahan said before the kilkenny game that offaly hurling was 10 years behind the top teams .
maybe he should talk to j dunne

Coukd not agree more Sam......Jimmy Dunne is very under rated (almist goes unnoticed) outside of KK, but he plays a huge part in the whole set up
