Would I be right in thinking that the rules loophole that gets the two lads out of missing a match will give players a free shot when playing their last championship game this year.
It appears from the ruling, that the rule to ensure you missed a game even if your suspension expired was only brought in on a temporary basis and should have been ratified again at congress.
I have often seen players on a losing team lash out when they know their year is over, and now with no deterrent it could be worse than ever.

According to the independent they won't carry forward, that was the point I was making. It would also mean for example if a player got a red card in the leinster final and his team won, he would be back for the AI semi final if it was a four week ban.
