This is really annoying - two great double headers on Saturday evening, one pair of football quarter finals and another good pair of hurling matches in my own parish and I'm at a wedding in Wexford.

I think we need to start a campaign that no Irish people should be allowed get married during the summer - it's just wrong.

Lusmagh

This obviously means the Lusmagh Shamrocks tie in the SHC has been deferred due to Shamrock's replay in the fupple.
Murphy's law for the fixtures committee. Two dual clubs involved in fupple replays.

Lusmagh were let off the hook against Belmont. Wonder if the hurl he scored the wining goal with was the same one he flung onto the back pitch in frustraton after being taken off?

Last minute goal, forwards struggling to make space for themselves, Belmont shooting themselves in the foot with umpteen wides. Room for improvement, though the parish are now starting to accumulate injuries to crucial men. Though the penalty (dubious as it was) turned the game around, when at 10-6 Lusmagh were probably 2 points from pulling away.
