Time

Half six in Portlaoise. A mad dash from Mullingar beckons, but sure we may as well make hay, seeing as it could easily be the last big day at any level this year.

If we dont win this match we'll be in the bottom 2 of our group, which means down to a relegation battle - fighting for survival in the Liam McCarthy, who would've thought. maybe if our county board had spent less time concerning themselves (unanimously) with providing stadia for soccer and rugby and more time capitalising on the successes of the 90s we wouldnt be in this mess.

Rule 42

Post by Percy Sledgehammer »

Gwannouradat.

Rule 42 was hardly an issue in the mid 1990's when we were sitting on our holes doing nothing.

We approved it this year - the same year ironically that the academies finally got set up.

You may stop flogging that dead horse. By now it's been through the glue factory, out into Easons and is stuck onto a leaving cert Art project somewhere.
