Tipsters Competition - Round 6, plus start of the Knockouts!

Okay folks, the shadow boxing is over, it's time to get down to the serious business. The Paddy McCormack and Daithi Regan Cups are by now revered all across the county, and since we have a full round of football this week and a full round of hurling next week, it was as good a time as any to get going with them.

A few points, of which many of ye will be aware....

(1) Everyone who has or hasn't entered this so far is eligible to enter. Last chance for lurkers!

(2) The top 12 plus ties in this weeks scores will qualify for round 2 of the McCormack Cup, every other participant from either this week or any of the weeks so far this year will be eligible for the Regan Cup. However if you haven't entered so far and you don't join in this week, you're out for good. Next week each group will be whittled down to 8, and we'll have quarter finals from then on.

(3) Rynagh's Biffo, as reigning McCormack Cup champion, gets a bye to round 2 of that competition, should he fail to qualify normally.

(4) This week also counts for league points.

Just for the record LS, Shannonbridge v Erin Rovers match was originally fixed for this Friday has been put back a week to Friday, August 10th.

Feck - didn't know that.

Since the results of this week have an impact on next week, I think the best thing is if we just ignore that fixture so. I'll repost it next week and it can be part of round 2 - otherwise they'd cross over and it would all get a bit messy.

So just to be clear - Shannonbridge vs Rovers not counted this week - all tips on this thread for it will be disregarded.

Lads, apologies again.
The Shannonbridge V Erin Rovers match has now been re-fixed again for this Saturday, 4th August at 7.30 pm in Doon.
Typical county board!
LS, I think we need to re-add this to the fixture list.
