Bad news about Shamrocks, last year's finalists, they may not be able to field a team in their remaining games, hopefully they will overcome their problems. In tonight's game Killeigh beat Ballinagar 2-12 to 0-12, and Ferbane beat Ballyfore last night.

Killeighs win over Ballinagar means Group 1 is as good as decided with the top 4 being Ferbane, Tullamore, Killeigh, Ballinagar.

Group 2 is more open. Clara and Daingean drew tonight. More will be known after the weekends round of matches. Too early to tell the top 4.

K/K and Ballycumber also drew.

I want to hear more from M_Dempsey, he sounds like a particularly sharp tool.

Result from tonights game cappincur 2-20 gracefield 1-3. Complete mismatch this game was over at half time. Gracefield believed to be pulling out of the rest of the championship.

I see round 5 is down for decision this weekend. A few interesting games. Both Clara and Ferbane lost a few to there senior teams the last weekend so it will be interesting to see if they can come through their games.

Killeigh are tipping along nicely and should qualify and will pose a threat to anyone as it is their first team. Cappincur and going well and with the St.Vincents minors involved with them they will take some watching.

I would not be suprised if K/K snatched the fourth spot in group 2 as they have Ballycommon and Gracefield left to play but Ballycumber are in the position at the moment.

We should have a better idea after this weekend how the quarters will be shaping up

Who did both teams lose? I think Cahill & Maher from Ferbane is that right?

How does this effect score difference in the group? If two teams finish level on points do they have a play-off or does it come down to who won the game between the two teams?

Either way it's always head to head when it's two teams tied. If it's three teams tied and there's a bye anywhere involved then it'll have to go to a playoff.

Q/F lineup looks like it will be as follows: Clara v Ballinagar, Ferbane v K/K, Cappincur v Killeigh, Tullamore v Daingean.
Only two remaining fixtures can change this lineup and they are K/K v Ballycommon and K/K v Cappincur. K/K lose both and Ballycommon replace them. K/K win both and and then Cappincur and Daingean trade postions.
