It was such a disappointing day. The U2 concert in Lansdowne Rd on the Sat night remained the highlight of my weekend unfortunately! Hard to believe thats 9 years ago now. Colm Quinn and Mac and Podge the only 2 still around the Offaly scene now?
It waould be nice to be looking forward to a semi final but its more difficult now to get there with the qtr final set up these days.

The most horrible wet and cold day I can remember in Tullamore was last year's intermediate final between Rynaghs and Walsh Island. By the end of the game I was that cold and wet I was suffering from lock jaw, but as bad as I was, a certain Loan Shark had to suffer the agony of Gracefield and Clonmore Harps in in the junior final that preceded the Intermediate game due to professional reasons, needless to say poor LS was practically numb by the end of the second game.
