Clubs voted for Semis for the following reason; it was felt that if the top two played off in a final there would be too many games of non-significance around the mid table region in latter weeks of the league.

I suppose there is merit in this arguement, but maybe another way to look at it would have two up two down in each division. The top two playing off in a final, but at least by making the final you have ensured promotion?

A later start to the leagues and condensing the games would allow the leagues to finish maybe a week or two later than this year. Mid Feb would be time enough re starting training and early mar. for commencement of the league.

This will also help to keep costs down for clubs

Now that all d county stuff is out of the way at least the senior football can get underway!!!!
