Early doors, but kildare look like being strong at this level of tier 2. By all accounts not a great performance today. U17 is very young and it's to be expected first day out. Will need to be a good bit better vs antrim next day out. They are physically strong.

Anyone know why we conceded a celtic challenge game against Tyrone? Surely we have a team

Great win today against Leix. It seemed like Leix were held the upper hand for most of the second half before Offaly hit them with two quick goals.
They're not the most heralded group, but they're humming along nicely.

Sure look if you could pull 3-4 off this team onto a senior team isn’t that enough? If ya only had that many coming through every year wouldn’t it be lovely

You would be hoping for 3 especially as the turnover nowadays because of traveling
I was talking to a Tipperary minor selector
During the week he is saying the same thing especially about young lads walking away.
I think it's universal now .

Anyone who watched the game on clubber could clarify something

On at least 3 occasions the ref made/overrules the umpire offaly were the ones who the decision went against

First half a wide was called a 65 by the ref and he wasn't anywhere near play

From where I stood not too far from the ref offaly scored what everyone thought was a point on 2 occasions for the ref to call them wide balls

Although he wasn't to blame for the loss nobody really was there was decisions there he definitely seen clearly he didn't call

Overcarry
Picked of the ground
Laying on the ball
Pushes in the back
Holding on
Chops

All very clear calls the offaly didn't benefit form

The second goal looked like what was in real time the most obvious square ball

Wexford were there for the taking offaly just didn't perform to thier ability on a day where you'd expect first time balls into the hand and clean picks all just seem to drop
