It is possible to predict things, and still not to want them to happen. I don't enjoy modern hurling nearly as much as I did the game of 2000-2010, when it was absolutely phenomenal - but that doesn't mean it's ever going back there.
That's not how sport works. I agree with Tmacmahon in his prognostications, but I certainly don't like it, or want it.

I see where Ben ó Connor of Cork lamenting about where the game is going. He says hurling is like soccer non contact.
I always rember é Coughlan and Tony Doran doing battle in the 80 S. Savage but on the ball , when hurling was a man's game, we could honestly put some of the top camogie players out nowadays and know they would be not in any danger.
