Players yes it's unacceptable, managers no they don't deserve sympathy. Are you aware of the size of the illegal payments most of these parasites are getting? It's the biggest scandal in the GAA ever and it's happening right now in front of us. Literally ten's of thousands of Euro being flushed down the jacks on managers. They and their coaches, nutritionists, psychologists etc. etc. etc. have destroyed the organisation. The GAA has become little more than a very financially rewarding playground for spoofers and charlatans.

Fair dues Bracknaghboy, dead right in ...safe to say 60% of cases in Club scene. I would say an average of 10 to 15k per average per club by x number of clubs, over €500k going to some journeymen. Imagine if clubs committed €100k of this to GAA coaches, matched by Leinster Council funding.
€200k would employ 4 more full time coaches (Wages and travel, subsistence prob €50k per coach?).
One "chap" plus "entourage" receiving over €30k annually.

Off topic alright.
But I would hope that hurlers get right appointment because some of the abuse is stemming from non performance on field and frustration...no excuse I know, but this is what happens in many of the weaker counties.

Re: Next Offaly Senior Hurling Manager
A lot of things not adding up here. Firstly AFAIK Joachim wasn’t the manager. Seamus Kennedy was so how is Liam Hogan the new manager?
And secondly what is this about a player should be banned for life?
And also I could be way off but has this anything to do with Ronnie Byrne’s Twitter?

They didn't use their words when having a disagreement from what I was told. May ask a coolderry member for more detail.
