greenairfield, i totally agree with you.
Dempseys puck out are the weakest side of his game but he also needs competition and I think Cahill could be the man for this. What about Eoin Kelly of Lusmagh?
I would love to see a high profile name but they cost money, money we dont have and money our county board is not willing to spend. Maybe we good produce an internal manager which can step up to the plate. I personnally dont think Danny Owens is the man but he has a good record with KK, Kevin Martin could be in with a shot, Aidan Hanrahan has managed a lot of club teams, Joachim Kelly maybe or maybe even give Cirain McDonald who was a selector with the group last a chance.
The players and their attitude are the key no matter the management, we need last years panel with lads coming back and lads coming in. The likes of Cathal Parlon, Tom Carroll, Sean Coughlan, Dan Currams, Conor Mahon, Peter & Thomas Gerarthy, Con Mahon back on the panel along with the under 21's of last year some which are mentioned in previous comments.
The lads themselves have to set the demands and standards they want. Get themselves in the gym and be flying early in the year and not to be playing catch up in May or June. There is no round robin this year so we have no excuses to be flying it for the first round. A tough first round draw could be a killer but fuck it, we cant be hoping for a easy draw to improve the situation Offaly hurling is at.
