Junior ‘A’ Football
Group 1: Clodiagh Gaels, Clonmore Harps, Kilclonfert, Clonbullogue, Tullamore, Birr, Ferbane;
Group 2: Kinnitty, Ballinagar, Clara, Ballycommon, Shamrocks, Edenderry, Tubber.
That is some Group in the Junior A.
I would of said the Championship between Clonbullogue, Ballycommon, Clonmore, Kilclonfert and Maybe Birr to an extent.
4 of those 5 are in one group.
Ballycommon have an easy group and if they have any ambitions of winning the Junior A they should ease through that group and aim to peak for the Semi-Final and Final.
Hard to know with the first group.
Clonbullogue threw away the final last year so they surely be favourites.
Kilclonfert were Intermediate the past 10 years and beat Clonbullogue in the relegation play off two years.
Clonmore won this a few years ago and have been at the latter end the past few years.
Birr were beaten finalists in 2013, hard to know what way to take them with regard the hurling.
Clodiagh Gaels - hard to know what way to take them. Killeigh haven't been performing that well the past few years but the new amalgamation could rejuvenate the side.
Ballinagar =- Struggling big time recently. Numbers decreasing which is sad to see. Maybe they should of joined with Clodiagh Gaels?
Kinnity - Think Junior A is as far as they will go but its great to see them go from Junior C to Junior A in a few years. Hurling will always be no1 but they can remain competitive. Semi Final wouldnt be too much out of their depth.
Shamrocks, Edenderry, Ferbane, Clara, Tullamore, Tubber - Wont cause any upsets. Edenderry maybe but thats about it.
Semi Finalists will be Clonbullogue, Ballycommon, Clonmore and Kilclonfert. There all evenly matched but I think it will be a Clonbullogue - Ballycommon final if they avoid each other but wouldnt be surprised to see clonmore or Kilclonfert win it out.
Anyone know what format the Junior A championship is run?

It's a tough one alright, Clonbullogue are the only team Killeigh (former team)!, haven't played in recent years. Clonmore are a big awkward physical team, the others have a football background, Birr are mainly hurling.
I'm hearing the U21 hurling championship is being shelved until October! Blasht anyway - the championship was in full swing. A chance was missed to have played the semi-finals this (Easter) weekend.
Pat Donegan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.
Oh, I know that, and it's great to have. Thing is, there is a separate section for championship draws which promises "will be published when draws are made". And it would give all the draws to be seen at a glance on the one page.

Copy and paste, lads. Or maybe its too much trouble.
In fairness to them they do have the fixtures and results pages updated to show upcoming championship fixtures and group tables.

Might be waiting for the Waterford boys to do it for them.
