Football Captain 2015
Football Captain 2015
I know that the hurling captain for this year has been named but does anyone know if the Football captain was named yet?

Was Alan Mulhall captain for the O'Byrne cup games? I saw him giving the team talk in the huddle before the games

Re: Football Captain 2015
Football captain was named as Paul McConway, with Alan Mulhall as Vice Captain.
I wouldn't imagine there were too many options that stood out to the same degree as either of those two. God knows I'd say that they are two of about four players in total who you could say with any degree of certainty will start in the championship if they're fully fit, every other spot is very much up for grabs. McConway is a committed and extremely likable chap who I'd imagine would be immensely popular and would command respect, while the mantle clearly sits easily enough with him in that he produced an excellent performance on Sunday in the role.

Kevin Egan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.
